Position and Climates : In the Kvarner bay, on the southwest coast of the island Krk. The island of Krk is connected to the mainland by a road bridge. Stara Baška is situated in typical Mediterranean Landscape and climate. It is 8 km from Punat, which Is the nearest town.
Summer temperatures: air 25°- 35°C, sea 23°-26°C. Average air temperature is 22°C.

Cultural heritage: Remains of St. Jerome church dating from Middle ages, interesting village centre, traditional dry-wall architecture along walking paths around the village.
